The Vault Project
Bold, Unique, and Stylish
We loved this stunning rebuild by Crescon Joinery, Maevin Group and Ali Davis that re-purposed a locksmith’s showroom and storage space into a chic industrial apartment.
Aside from its contemporary and stylish design, this challenging project is practical and functional.
Integrated fridge, freezer and dishwasher, fold out ironing board, soft closing drawers, deep green cabinetry, and stunning Monaco cabinet handles in Matt Gold finish are the highlight features of this project. The use of Corten as a benchtop to ceiling splash back is also a major design feature in this project.
Inspiration is drawn from warehouse and industrial living concepts, and design elements with alternative materials. The features and materials used were selected to align with the dramatic design concept.
The theme was to evolve the space into an industrial vintage concept using exposed red brick and original timber floorboards. Selecting complementary materials and finishes paid tribute to these elements. Blending the old with the new creates a unique look and feel.

The Monaco by Castella is designed to suit contemporary spaces. The knurling detail adds a touch of interest and texture to a simple, but refined handle. Made in Italy. The handle is available in 2 lengths, a 30mm round knob, a 35mm square knob, a 60mm T knob and a matching shelf bracket. Available in 4 finishes. Finishes: Matt Black, Matt Gold, Matt Rose Gold and Polished Chrome
