End Of Year Wrap-Up
As the year draws to a close we would like to say thank you to our valued customers and wish you a safe holiday season and prosperous new year.
It’s been an exciting 12 months at Castella, with a range of new products arriving from Europe and many valued designers and manufacturers showcasing our handles as part of their incredible kitchen and bathroom projects.
Our Favourites from 2019
It’s been a busy year at Castella with several new and exciting styles added to our collections. The Stirling range of classically designed solid brass rail handles is the latest addition, and popular with designers and end users.
The exclusive Tirar Collection of solid wood door pulls, knobs, hooks and handles, created for the Qantas executive lounge is now available to you. Tirar is Australian designed and crafted, made from the finest quality american oak, american walnut and spotted gum timbers.
With it’s distinctive straight-lines and smooth simplistic style, Ledge is for those who want a handle that is both functional and discreet. Currently available in matt black, matt white, satin stainless steel and polished stainless steel finishes, satin brass will be available in early January.
Stirling
Range
The Stirling handle is a classic rail handle, designed for modern cabinetry. A statement handle, Stirling is timeless, easy to use, smooth to touch and will add a hint of luxury to your cabinets. The pull handles are made from solid brass to give you added strength and durability. Castella Stirling handles are available in 128mm and 192mm centres, a 450mm appliance pull and a 50mm T knob. Finishes are Satin Brass, Bronze, Dull Brushed Nickel, Matt Black and Polished Chrome.
Ledge
Range
The Ledge cabinet pull is perfect for those who love the discreet look of handleless cabinetry, but need or prefer the functionality of a handle. A popular choice for both residential and commercial projects, the Ledge is available in 5 lengths and six finishes. Finishes: Bronze, Matt Black, Matt White, Polished Stainless Steel, Satin Stainless Steel and Satin Brass Cabinet handle size: 30mm, 100mm, 200mm, 300mm, 400mm
2020 Vision: What’s trending for the year ahead
At Castella we’re fortunate to get a glimpse into what is going to be popular for each new year and 2020 is no exception. While black, white and graphite were the big hits for 2019, next year looks set to be all about satin brass! We have a number of styles already available in this vibrant finish, including the Stirling and Decade ranges.

Cabinet knobs size: 35mm, 32mm, 38mm Cabinet handle size: 76mm cup pull, 95mm cup pull, 76mm handle, 102mm handle, 152mm handle and 203mm handle. Appliance pulls: 270mm, 395mm.
2019 in Black and White
A popular trend in 2019 saw designers choosing to go back to basics when it came to finishes. Black and white architectural hardware was our most sought-after finish this year and no style highlights the stark contrast of these tones as well as the Urbane range. Distinctive and versatile, the Urbane range is also available in the Graphite finish – perfect for both natural timber or modern industrial cabinetry – and the eye-catching Satin Gold.

The Urbane cabinet handle and knob range is distinctive and versatile, providing elegant simplicity and clean lines to your cabinetry. A Decade in the Hamptons
As an example of the superb workmanship undertaken for these projects, the Hamptons Kitchen by Germancraft Cabinets was one of our favourites for 2019 and featured the Decade Collection of knobs and handles.
